Corecess 6808-APC

The Corecess 6808-APC is an advanced IP based DSL Access Multiplexor that can be used by service providers interested in offering broadband multi-service features on the last mile access network over copper based local loops. It supports both symmetrical and asymmetrical DSL interfaces and provides speeds of up to 24 Mbps downstream whilst still maintaining backward compatibility with older standards. The equipment supports Triple Play Services (TPS) - the concurrent provision of Broadband Internet access, Voice over IP and Video on Demand.

Corecess 6808-APC is engineered to provide intelligent IP services as networks evolve. Both SHDSL and ADSL2+ blades are available and it delivers advanced IP services that include QoS, multicast, subscriber management. These service features, stave off clogging and congestion of the bandwidth available to the users allowing smooth, easy and efficient passage of video, voice and data packets across the networks, which also enables operators to increase their revenues and maximize their profits.

The high density shelf can be used in either 19inch, ETSI or 23inch racks. With ventilation at the sides, the equipment can support up to 2304 DSL lines per rack to provide the best space utilization in the Central Office.
